Dette er en tegneserie, jeg lavede til Børnejazzklubbens magasin, februar i år. Det er et forsøg på at lave tegneserier til små børn, 5 år og nedefter. Det er nok ikke lykkedes, for de små fatter jo intet – med mindre en forstående forælder forklarer.
De fleste tegneserier læses af store børn, der selv kan læse og af unge samt nørdede voksne – sådan trives klicheen i hvert fald. En af mine missioner som tegneserietegner er at lave tegneserier, der ikke henvender sig til børn. Som kunstform bør tegneserien i lige så høj grad kunne henvende sig til voksne, selvom der (endnu?) ikke findes mange voksenserier i forhold til barnlige serier.
Ovenstående tegneserie er en undtagelse fra min side. Men en sjov undtagelse, da jeg forsøger at henvende mig til børn, der er så unge, at det muligvis bliver deres livs første tegneserieoplevelse. Kunne jeg i hvert fald håbe…
